To be able to diagnose chromosomal disorders during the period of prenatal and postnatal, some tissues such as  amniotic fluid, CVS, blood and skin obtained are done culture studies. And also chromosome analysis are realized. In our Cytogenetics Laboratory along with these studies, analysis are also conducted in mentioned areas.

Postnatal

• Peripheral blood culture and chromosome analysis
• Cell culture from skin etc. tissue and chromosome analysis
• Chromosome analysis from bone marrow

Prenatal

• Fetal blood culture and chromosome analysis
• Cell culture from amniotic fluid and chromosome analysis
• Cell culture from chorionic tissue (CVS) and chromosome analysis
• Cell culture from abortion material and chromosome analysis
