QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Our Center has completed the procedures required for quality control in 2009 and gained right to receive ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certificate granted by UDEM certification body in May 2010.

EXTERNAL QUALITY CONTROL
As there is no authorized body in our country for accurate and reliable measurement of the genetic test results (external quality control), our Center has cooperated with overseas institutions. In 2008, our Center has become a member to UKNEQAS and EMQN, the most esteemed external quality control institutions in the world related to the genetic tests, for Cytogenetic tests (chromosome analysis and FISH analyses) and Molecular Genetic tests (DNA tests) and has also attended the quality control studies launched during the same year.
As a result of these studies, in 2009, our Center has been certified by UKNEQAS for chromosome analyses and by EMQN for DNA sequence analysis (DNA-SEQ full) mutation scan (MSCAN).
Finally, our Center has joined Cystic Fibrosis European Network for the Cystic Fibrosis disease, as it is one of the most frequently observed genetic diseases. This institution collaborates with EuroGentest and EMQN and the quality studies for the year 2009 of this institution still continue.
